Welcome to the Berean Coffeehouse! About our name, this isn’t a physical coffeehouse serving actual coffee (though that would be great). The name is borrowed from English from English Coffeehouses, where individuals went to discuss the issues and books of the day. That explains the second part of our name, the first part, Berean, comes from the Berean Christians, who we are told were noble because they both believed the gospel, but also sought the truth of that which Paul had preached (Acts 17:11).
I’m your virtual Barista, Nemo Gravitas (aka Kevin Short), a Christian philosopher of religion. We are slowly going to be getting started in the next few weeks, along with some videos on YouTube. At first, I want to focus on quality over speed.
